As I gazed over the ocean of clouds shining brightly in the afternoon sun outside the airplane window, I was overcome by an uncanny feeling. If someone had told me it was all just a dream, I would have believed them —- one more indication that everything to this point in my life had only been an illusion, faraway and simple.
